Our Vision:

Sarasota Archery Academy exists to develop the next generation of archers by providing high-level training, unwavering support, and a team environment rooted in hard work, mutual encouragement, and personal accountability.

We are a community of like-minded individuals who choose to pursue excellence together. Here, challenges are met with encouragement, teammates are lifted up, and every member is committed to elevating those around them so the entire team rises.

Our goal is simple: to inspire and equip every archer to reach their fullest potential—on the range and in life.

X-Ring Membership

Perfect for archers who want consistent, high-quality training and the camaraderie of a dedicated team.
Minimum Requirement: Participation in 2 tournaments. 
Required Registrations: Active membership with USA Archery.

  • Access: Weekly supervised practices and group lessons
    Mondays & Thursdays, 5:00–8:00 p.m.
  • Training Focus: Individual fundamentals on 18-meter (3-spot) and 30–50-meter 720-round formats
  • Eligibility: Participate in USA Archery State Indoor, National Indoor, or outdoor 720 tournaments if desired
  • Awards: Eligible to earn USA Archery Adult Achievement and JOAD pin awards
  • Monthly Dues: $200

Upper 12’s Membership

Reserved for highly driven competitive archers pursuing state and national titles.
Minimum Requirement: Shoot a minimum of 5 ASA tournaments (4 State Qualifiers + the Florida ASA State Championship).
Approval: Membership by coach evaluation.
Required Registrations: Active membership with ASA Archery and USA Archery.

  • Access: Full access to all X-Ring sessions with the same advanced competitive training provided to all team members (shot execution, mental management, tournament simulation)
  • Specialized 3D Training: During Monday & Thursday practices, Upper 12’s members break out for dedicated 3D archery sessions (foam animal targets, varied angles, yardage judgment, and ASA tournament-style scenarios) while X-Ring focuses on paper targets
  • Additional Access: Participation in our once-a-month Saturday morning scheduled tournaments
  • Perks: Custom sight tapes, full bow tuning (including line tuning), and 20%+ discounts on private lessons, repairs, and equipment
  • Commitment: Required alignment with the team’s competitive calendar
  • Monthly Dues: $300

Code of Conduct

As a member of Sarasota Archery Academy, you represent our team and the sport of archery at all times. We hold ourselves to the highest standard of character, sportsmanship, and respect.

Core Principles

  1. Safety First
    The safety of yourself and others is non-negotiable. Members will strictly follow all range rules and safety protocols established by the academy, host venues, USA Archery, and World Archery.
  2. Respect
    Immediate and unconditional respect is given to coaches, officials, teammates, opponents, and spectators. Disrespectful language or behavior will not be tolerated.
  3. Positive Intent
    We build each other up. Gossip, sabotage, or any action intended to diminish another archer is strictly prohibited.
  4. Integrity & Commitment
    Your word is your bond. When you commit to practice, an event, or a team standard, we expect you to honor it.
  5. Self-Control
    Archery is a discipline of the mind as much as the body. Emotional outbursts, profanity, or equipment abuse will be addressed immediately.
  6. The Golden Rule
    Treat every person the way you would want to be treated—with dignity, encouragement, and respect.

Important Note: Violations of this Code will be addressed promptly and may result in suspension or removal from the academy. Membership at Sarasota Archery Academy is a privilege earned through consistent demonstration of these values.
