Sarasota Archery Academy was born out of a passion to build the next generations of archers, and a desire to share this incredible sport with the community. Our team of experienced coaches are dedicated to providing comprehensive training and coaching tailored to each individual’s needs. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced archer, we are committed to helping you improve your skills and enjoy every moment of your archery journey.
Coach Rob
Robert Gilbert is a passionate USA Archery Level 3 certified coach who loves sharing his expertise with others. His coaching journey kicked off in a special way—when his sons decided they wanted to follow in their dad’s footsteps and take up archery. That family connection is what drives him every single day. For Robert, there’s nothing better than watching his sons develop their skills and grow in the sport he holds dear. He believes that success comes from a winning combination: a clear vision, hard work, discipline, determination, and putting Jesus first.
