Sarasota’s premier competitive archery program for youth and adults. From first draw to the national stage, we develop disciplined athletes who compete at the highest level in USA Archery and ASA 3D formats.
Sarasota Archery Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit competitive archery team in Sarasota, Florida, founded in 2024. The academy runs two programs — the X-Ring Program (USA Archery indoor 18-meter and outdoor 720-round) and the Upper 12’s Program (ASA 3D archery). All four coaches are volunteers, and 100% of program funds support athletes. The team trains athletes ages 8 and up from across Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Lakewood Ranch, and North Port.

Sarasota Archery Academy is a competitive archery team based in Sarasota, Florida, offering structured coaching and tournament travel for serious youth and adult athletes. We run two distinct competitive programs: the X-Ring Program — focused on USA Archery indoor 18-meter and outdoor 720-round formats — and the Upper 12’s Program for ASA 3D archery, including Shooter of the Year ranking pursuit at the Florida state level.
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 41-3616783), our entire coaching staff — all four coaches — volunteer their time. Every dollar collected goes directly into the program. We serve archers from Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Lakewood Ranch, North Port, and throughout southwest Florida. Athletes compete at state, regional, and national tournaments representing one of Florida’s only fully volunteer-run competitive archery academies.
Archery Training Programs for Competitive Youth Archers
Every aspect of our program is designed to develop archers who thrive under pressure. Structured training, mental preparation, and relentless attention to form — for athletes who want to compete, not just shoot.
X-Ring Program
USA Archery indoor and outdoor archery coaching for competitive youth and adult archers. Training emphasizes indoor 18-meter 3-spot rounds and outdoor Olympic-style 720-round formats. Athletes develop technical precision, shot consistency, and the mental discipline required to perform under tournament conditions. Monthly investment: $200.
Upper 12’s Program
ASA 3D archery training in Florida for driven competitors pursuing Shooter of the Year rankings. Athletes participate in state qualifiers and the Florida ASA State Championship. This program is built for archers who want to compete at the highest level of 3D field archery — not for beginners. Monthly investment: $300.
All-Volunteer Coaching Staff
All four of our coaches donate their time and expertise to the program. No one draws a salary — not the head coach, not anyone. This isn’t typical for a competitive youth sports program in Florida, and it means your investment goes where it matters: equipment, facility, and tournament travel.

Join a Program
Athletes enter X-Ring (USA Archery) or Upper 12’s (ASA 3D) — or train in both — building tournament-ready form under Level 3 NTS coaching.
State Competition
Regular participation at Florida state level — USA Archery indoor and outdoor rounds, ASA 3D state qualifiers. Refining technique under real pressure.
National Stage
National-level competition. Representing Sarasota Archery Academy at USA Archery Nationals and ASA National Tour events.
State Champions. Shooters of the Year.
